H.T. AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR
H.T. Automatic Voltage Regulator is the equipment meant for obtaining constant voltage from fluctuating mains input supply (9-12 KV). It protects your valued equipment from over and under voltages, resulting in the improvement of efficiency, performance and safety of the equipment . SUSHIL ELECTRICALS covers a wide range of H.T. Automatic Voltage Regulator of capacity up to 5000 KVA for different input 3-phase voltage i.e.11 / 22 / 33 KV and different required output voltage 415 / 433 volts with or without neutral.
H.T. Automatic Voltage Regulator to be installed on the incoming side of the Transformer and fluctuations in the voltage before feeding it to the transformer, thus H.T. AVR supplies rated stabilized voltage to the transformer up to its full KVA rating & simultaneously protecting it from High / Low voltage fluctuation.
TRANSFORMERS WITH BUILT – IN HT AVR
The SUSHIL’S make transformers with Built-in H.T. Automatic Voltage Regulator is a revolutionary landmark in the industry when it comes to voltage regulation and stabilization.
Even after the installation of standard distribution transformers the problem of Low / High Voltage on the L.T. side remains there resulting in improper operation of the electrical machines of a plant.
The standard off-circuit tapings of the transformers can correct limited voltage variations and cannot regulate the voltage while in “ON LOAD” condition. Thus, we developed a smart way to tackle the said problem by introducing transformer having Built-In H.T. AVR that operates on load, steplessly.
The equipment is basically a combination of H.T. AVR with a standard distribution transformer. The fluctuating voltage from “GRID” is initially stabilized by the H.T. AVR and then fed to the transformer resulting in constant L.T. Output with in ±1% accuracy and the biggest advantage being the robust design of the equipment which does not demand regular maintenance.

H.T. AVR supplies rated Stabilized Voltage to the Transformer will be up to full rated capacity and is protected from High / Low Voltage Fluctuations.
Where No. of Distribution Transformers are installed in a plant, you can put only one H.T. Automatic Voltage Regulator.

SUGGESTION FOR INDUSTRIAL UNITS HAVING OLTC
The units which have already installed OLTC with their transformer also require Voltage Regulator due to the reason that the taping of OLTC is not changed frequently. It is changed only when the problem of very high or very low input voltage is very felt. On the other hand, our H.T. AVR continuously monitors the output voltage level. However, the input voltage range of regulator can be kept low where OLTC is installed.
CONSTRUCTION OF H.T. AVR:
SUSHIL’S H.T. AVR primarily consists of the following :
A. Step Down Transformer
B. Liner, Plus / minus type vertical voltage Regulator
C. Buck / Boost Transformer.
D. Electronic control circuit.
The item (A) & (C) are housed inside a sheet steel tank fitted with cooling radiators & provided with all standard fittings and accessories. However, item (B) is housed in separate tank.
