The core is built from low loss CRGO annealed steel sheet. The laminations are assembled with the help of special jigs and fixtures. The core is clamped to specific design pressure and is fabricated with maximum numbers of steps to meet the performance parameters to no load losses.

All windings (to imparts desired mechanical strength) are made from electrolytic grade copper/aluminium as per customer's requirement. The insulating kraft paper are procured directly from Importers. Hard pressboard blocks insulates the end turns from each other and the layers are insulated from each other by interlayer insulations.

The winding are assembled in the core and supported radially by carefully designed number of pre-compressed pressboard spacers. Later they are dried in the electric oven and then individually pressed by pre-determined force. The top insulation of the winding assembly is suitably adjusted . Finally pre-determined force presses all the winding applied through the clamping structure.

Tanks are fabricated out of good quality steel sheets to reduce chances of leakages. Tanks are provided with pressed sheet radiators and all their external and internal surfaces are coated with 'Zinc Chromate Primer' and two final coat of paint for better life.

Transformer oil works as a coolant & liquid dielectric. The Transformer oil is directly purchased in tankers from refineries. Insulating material used for all the applications are of electrical grade. Press board, Precompressed boards and all rest of the material are as per relevant standards.

Quality control activity starts from the selection of most suitable raw material. Our QC department checks the material and its performance all during the manufacturing process. We have a well equipped laboratory to carry out various routine tests and type tests to get assured of the transformer's workability before being handed to the customer.
