Rectangular Lifting Magnet For handling single layers of steel billets and rails in raft format, rectangular or bipolar lifting magnets are the ideal solution. The advantage of rectangular magnets is that the full – face width of the magnet can be utilized for lifting the billets and rails. This features aids handling and improves operational availability. Rectangular lifting magnets are also suitable for handling rafts of billets at temperature up to 600 C.

SUSPENDED ELECTROMAGNET

Suspended magnets are usually mounted above belt conveyor with the purpose of extracting pieces of tramp iron from the material being transported ranges incorporating electromagnets are available. The type chosen for particular application being determined by feed burden ,nature of tramp iron ,environmental condition and plant location.

CABLE REELING DRUM

SUSHIL’S Cable reeling drums are spring operated and gear operated which is essential accessories for lifting magnets in either mobile crane, E.O.T. crane, electrical hoists etc.

SPRING OPERATED drum revolves on a pair of ball bearings for smooth operation. The drum has a set of high tension springs on one side to reel and unreel drum and double contact slip-rings assembly for power supply to the magnet on the other side.
GEAR OPERATED drum revoves on a pair of ball bearings with help of gear, fitted on both relling drum and wire rope drum of crane.
